1st Australasian conference on Computational mechanics (ACCM2013) (3-4 OCTOBER 2013, Sydney)
The objective of this inaugural conference is to bring together researchers and users of computational mechanics (CM) in the region to meet and present their work. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome as well as academics and practicing users of CM. There will be ample scope to network and exchange ideas. The cost structure will be kept low to encourage wide participation.
The conference is intended to cover all aspects of computational mechanics in all disciplines of engineering and physics.
The conference will consist of parallel sessions in different topic areas such as CFD, materials research, biomedical and so on. We would like to attract some visiting or local "heroes" then the programme will be posted at a later date. The program will be published once the program committee, yet to be finalized, has reviewed the papers received.
All accepted papers will be peer reviewed to the Australian Research Council standard and will be published in a special issue in Applied Mechanics and Materials (ISSN: 1660-9336).
The conference registration fee includes two years membership of the Australian Association of Computational Mechanics (AACM) which also entitles membership of the International Association of Computational Mechanics (IACM).
