2016 Symposium Overview

Every two years commencing 2006, ADATE (formerly SuTEN) has convened a world class event in tissue engineering.

We recently succesfully held the 6th Tissue Engineering Symposium. Between September 12th to September 14th 2016, many of the world’s best researchers and industrial partners in the field of tissue engineering presented their latest research findings, formed networks, and initiated collaborations on an international scale, at our Symposium held at Stanford University.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of ADATE, and acknowledge the international recognition of ADATE, the 2016 6th Tissue Engineering Symposium was co-convened by Professor Hala Zreiqat with Professor Sarah Heilshorn along with Stanford Bio-X and held at Stanford University, California, USA.

Professor Sarah Heilshorn

Professor Sarah Heilshorn had always been an active contributing member of ADATE and her research focuses on designing materials that mimic the nano- and micro-scale order found in nature for applications in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and energy.

Stanford Bio-X

Bio-X is Stanford's pioneering interdisciplinary biosciences institute, bringing together biomedical and life science researchers, clinicians, engineers, physicists, and computational scientists to unlock the secrets of the human body.
