Professor R.W.Bilger Memorial Fund

The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering has established a fund to honour the memory of Professor Bilger and his outstanding service and leadership. The fund will be used to support undergraduate students in the area of Combustion. If you would like to make a donation please fill in the attached form below. Bob joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1965 and was appointed as a full Professor of Mechanical Engineering in 1976 and ran a highly successful and internationally renowned combustion research group. He served as Head of School on many occasions and taught a variety of subjects over the many years. He will be sorely missed by colleagues and friends within the school.
