HOW TO GET HERE

The conference venue is Peter Nicol Russell (PNR) Building at Engineering Precinct of Darlington Campus, University of Sydney, NSW 2006.

 

Bus

Bus tickets must be purchased before boarding. These tickets can be purchased from any TransitShop or ticket vendor. Buses to the Darlington Campus depart from Stand C at Railway Square. The bus routes from this stand are the 422, 423, 426, 428, L23, L28 and M30. These buses may also be boarded from the Sydney CBD.

Alight from these buses at (Figure 1):

1. City Road near Cleveland Street (outside the Seymour Centre). Walk towards the Seymour Centre and enter the Darlington Campus. The Engineering Precinct will be to your right.

2. The University Gates on City Road. Walk down Butlin Avenue past the Wentworth Building. Turn left at the University Aquatic Centre. Walk straight ahead towards the Engineering Precinct.

 

Trains

The conference venue is close to Redfern Station (10 minutes walk) and it is around 1500m from Central Station. Trains stop regularly at Redfern, with the exception of trains on the Airport/East Hills line and some intercity trains.

From Redfern station exit north and turn left. Walk along Lawson Street until reach the traffic lights at Abercrombie Street (Figure 2). Continue left until you reach the other traffic lights at Shepherd Street. Turn right and enter the Darlington Campus via the boardwalk. The Engineering Precinct will be to your right.

Taxis

Taxi is probably the most convenient way. Depending on traffic conditions, a trip into the city CBD takes about 20 minutes and should cost around AUD $30.

 

Car

Parking is available at the Shepherd Street Car Park. There is a daily flat rate of $24. Exit from Level 3 of the Car Park (Figure 3). The Engineering Precinct will be to your left.
