Guidelines for submitting an abstract
You are asked to follow these guidelines when submitting an abstract for oral or poster presentation:
- Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words
- The title of the abstract should be as concise as possible and should appear in bold, lower case and centred
- Authors (last name and initials) should be listed below the title in italics with the main author’s name underlined and the name of the presenting author marked with an asterisk (*)
- The affiliations should be listed in the line below the authors in italics
- Main body of text to be fully left and right justified, with 3cm margins (A4)
- Single spacing throughout
- Font should be Times New Roman 12 point font
- One small table or figure is permitted providing the abstract fits on a single A4 page
- Abstracts should be sent as an MS Word email attachment
- Please include with your submission your full address and contact details including e’mail address of the main author and the presenting author in the email and indicate whether are submitting an oral or a poster presentation.
- Please indicate if the presenter is eligible for either the Award for best presentation by a PhD student or for the Award for best presentation by a postdoctoral fellow within 5 years of PhD graduation.
