Ms Jiao Jiao Li
Ms Jiao Jiao Li is a postgraduate student at the University of Sydney, pursuing a PhD under the supervision of A/Prof Hala Zreiqat at the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Research Unit. Her project involves collaboration with Tufts University, where she has spent 6 months conducting research under the supervision of Prof David Kaplan. Jiao Jiao’s research focus is on the development of novel composite scaffolds for treatment of skeletal joint defects. This involves fabricating polymer-ceramic composite scaffolds with properties ideal for bone tissue regeneration, and modifying these scaffolds such that they have a multiphasic nature suitable for osteochondral repair.
